Below are a sample of things we do in Puerto Viejo and surroundings in 3 DAYS 

Day 1: Wild Reserve of Gandoca and Manzanillo: A Reserve to walk through its full nature surrounded by animals monkeys, iguanas, sloths where you can visit a viewpoint, get lost among its small paradisiacal coves, snorkel, go to Punta Mona. At the end of the park there is a sustainable community... Visit Punta Uva beach and Arrecife: Punta Uva beach is famous for having one of the most spectacular white sand and palm beaches in Costa Rica. Tour Old Port on Foot and See sunset in Puerto Pirata (Old Port) Nightlife: Puerto Viejo is a place with a lot of life and a lot of atmosphere, the Caribbean paradise. If you are one of those who like to party this is your ideal place. DAY 2: Visit the Cahuita National Park: This Park is an area where you can find one of the most developed coral reefs on the Caribbean coast. There is an 8km trail where you can observe many animals such as sloths, monkeys, snakes. In addition, it houses one of the best white sand beaches in the country. Snorkeling in Cahuita or Arrecife Beach (Punta Uva): The Beaches of the Caribbean are incredible for snorkeling, the best points are the Cahuita National Park or Arrecife Beach (Punta Uva). Watch sunset and stroll along Playa Negra DAY 3: Surfing at Cocles beach Relax in Chiquita beach or Natural Pools Visit the aboriginal village of Bri Bri: The Bri Bri is one of the areas where indigenous people are still living in Costa Rica, they are also spread throughout the country. Right next to Puerto Viejo, there is a place that still coexists, the town of BriBri.
